OTS Chafe Gear™ is delivered in two configurations:
a sleeve which is used prior to and during splicing of rope, and an open velcro jacket enabling assembly anywhere on the rope even after it is spliced.
High Abrasion Strength
The standard OTS Chafe Gear™ is made with two different materials; a extremely durable HMPE fiber combined with polyester, or with 100% high strength polyester fiber as a lower cost option. Other material qualities are also available on request.

Custom made
The Whoopie sling is a adjustable sling for small, medium and large operations. The sling is made with Dextron rope and can be delivered in the length and strength you require.
Easy handling
Like all Dextron products, the whoppie sling is light and easy to handle. No personal protection equipment is required when handling a Dextron product. The rope is free from splinters and the weigth is considerably lower than polyester and steel ropes.
